Oh my heavens this is so fun that you are able to paint with each other. You like red. This piece is a very strong primary triad. Blue Yellow and Red. Fun format in the vertical as well. The corner piece with the strong dark, cuts us off from the painting. Repeat what you did on the line under the buildings change value and hue. This will let the viewer in to the piece. It could be compared to a no trespassing sign smack dab in front. Careful dark's are not lower then 2.5 or 3 out side. The window and inside dark areas can be darker. Fun for you both
